PREPPING BARGAINS
M E D I A K I T — P A R T N E R S & P R E S S
Prepare for anything. Pay less for everything.
| Prepping Bargains is the family-friendly deals home for preparedness — food, water, power, and gear. No guns, no fear. |
WHAT PREPPING BARGAINS IS
A daily deals, coupons, and reviews site for preppers, homesteaders, campers, RVers, and frugal families. Every morning, founder Diane checks the overnight price drops against real price history and throws out the fakes — the inflated “was” prices, the countdown timers that reset at midnight, the “emergency” markups timed to the weather. What survives gets posted, with the receipts: the 5–10 deals a day actually worth your money, on the site and in the free daily email.
Verification is the product, not a slogan. Every deal carries a visible badge: “✓ Checked: 90-day low · confirmed at 3 retailers · [date]”. How we make money is stated just as plainly: some links are affiliate links, and the commission never changes the reader’s price.
THE GAP WE OCCUPY
The prepper-deals space is served almost entirely by manually updated blog pages: no price verification, no expiry handling, no real daily email. And every direct competitor centers firearms and ammunition — which excludes the family-preparedness buyer that mainstream couponing proved is the largest money-saving audience online. That buyer has had no dedicated deals home. This is it.
| Capability | Typical prepper deal pages | Prepping Bargains |
| Human price-history verification | None | On every deal, badged and dated |
| Automatic price updates & deal expiry | None — hand-edited lists | Built into the deal engine |
| Daily deals email | Weekly at best | One a day, 5–10 verified deals |
| Exclusive partner coupon codes | Rare | Core to the model |
| Family-safe: no firearms or ammo | No — all monetize guns | Yes — a stated line |
THE AUDIENCE
Most of our readers would never call themselves “preppers.” They are:
- Quiet-prepper families — suburban, storm-state, budget-stressed households building a deeper pantry without the label. Our primary reader.
- Fixed-income and retired households — buying what they need at today’s prices, before those prices climb out of reach.
- Harvest savers — gardeners and canners who enter preparedness through food preservation and freeze drying.
- RVers and van-lifers — power, water, and gear buyers with recurring needs.
You can hear them in the language they use with us: “what am I forgetting” · “without overpaying” · “when the power goes out” · “peace of mind” · “not a burden.” They buy emergency food, freeze dryers, canning supplies, water storage, solar power, and camping gear — and they come back, because stocking a household is a habit, not a purchase.
Who we don’t serve: the tactical and doomer segment. Our competitors keep it.
| A note on numbers Prepping Bargains launched in 2026, and we publish only figures we can verify — that standard is the entire brand. Today that means process numbers: 12 deal categories, a 182-product price-tracking manifest, every deal checked against 90-day price history, and 5–10 verified deals in each daily email. Audience figures will appear here the moment they’re meaningful. Ask for current numbers any time — you’ll get real ones. |
THE FOUNDER: DIANE, THE BARGAIN BOTANIST
Diane spent 30 years as a professional horticulturist specializing in plant propagation — the science of turning one plant into hundreds. “Making a lot out of a little was my job description.” She has hunted deals for decades, prepped moderately for twenty years and seriously for the last three, and she gardens, camps, cans, dehydrates, and freeze dries.
The philosophy in one freezer run: she recently found chicken that was on sale and marked down a further 50%, bought 120 pounds, and freeze dried all of it — saving about $200 against today’s prices, and more against tomorrow’s.
Diane appears by first name and byline only. The shield emblem stands in for a headshot in all coverage.
FOR BRANDS: WHAT A PARTNERSHIP LOOKS LIKE
| Placement | What it is | What it does for you |
| Dedicated brand coupon page | A page for your codes: exclusive reader code, terms, updated date | Owns “[your brand] coupon” searches with codes that are verified and current |
| Verified deal posts | Your sale posted with price history, true cost, and the verification badge | Third-party proof your discount is real — trust ads can’t buy |
| Daily email feature | Your offer among the day’s 5–10, sent to readers who asked for it | Our most engaged channel: one email a day, no filler |
| Reviews & buying guides | Hands-on coverage in your category | Evergreen search presence beside honest receipts |
How it works
Commission-only — no upfront cost. Two easy setups: (1) if you run an affiliate program or a Shopify affiliate app, we join it today; (2) if not, a unique reader discount code (you choose the amount) with a commission on tracked sales works just as well.
What we won’t do — and why it protects your brand
We never use fear to sell. We never run fake countdowns or invented scarcity. We never post a deal we haven’t checked against its price history. We never sell or link to firearms or ammunition. Your product appears next to receipts, not hype — and readers reward that with trust that transfers to you.
| Start with proof, not paperwork. Send your current best offer to deals@preppingbargains.com and we’ll build a sample verified deal post so you can see exactly how your brand appears — before you commit to anything. |

FOR PRESS
Boilerplate (ready to quote)
Prepping Bargains (preppingbargains.com) is the family-friendly deals home for preparedness: daily human-verified deals, coupons, and reviews across food, water, power, and gear. Founded in 2026 by Diane, a 30-year professional horticulturist turned full-time deal checker, the site verifies every deal against real price history and publishes only the 5–10 a day worth your money. No guns, no fear — just receipts. Prepping Bargains is a Growing Profits LLC publication based in Arkansas.
Story angles
- “Caught!” — the fake-discount teardown. Inflated “was” prices, countdown timers that reset at midnight, and “emergency” markups timed to the weather — named, with receipts.
- Preparedness without the bunker. The suburban families building deep pantries who would never say “prepper” — and why the industry keeps ignoring them.
- The freeze-drying economy. How households hedge grocery inflation by buying at today’s prices — like 120 pounds of half-price chicken, freeze dried, for about $200 in savings.
- A no-guns deals site in a firearms-heavy niche. Every direct competitor monetizes guns and ammo. Prepping Bargains’ refusal is both a principle and the position.
