Prepping Bargains is a deal-finding website operated by Growing Profits LLC. Many of the links on this site are affiliate links. That means if you click a link to a retailer and make a purchase, the retailer may pay us a commission. This never changes the price you pay; the commission comes out of the retailer’s side, not yours.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. We participate in other affiliate programs as well, including networks and direct partnerships with brands. When a brand has given our readers an exclusive discount code, we say so on the deal itself.

Affiliate commissions are how this site stays free to read. They do not determine what we post: we only feature deals we have checked and would act on ourselves, and no retailer or brand can pay to have a deal posted as “verified.” Sponsored or paid placements, if we ever run them, will be clearly labeled as such.

2. Prices change — constantly

Every price you see on this site was accurate when we posted or last updated it, and many prices on this site refresh automatically on a regular schedule. But retailers change prices at any time, without notice, and sometimes within minutes. That means:

The price displayed on Prepping Bargains may differ from the price you see when you arrive at the retailer’s site.
The price shown on the retailer’s website at the time of your purchase is the price that applies — always confirm the final price, shipping cost, and availability in your cart before you buy.
“Was” prices, list prices, and percentage-off figures are based on retailer-provided data and our own price-history research at the time of posting; retailers may change or dispute their own reference prices.
Products may sell out, change specifications, or be withdrawn at any time. A deal being visible on this site is not a guarantee that it is still available.

3. About our “verified” checks and price history

When we mark a deal as checked or verified — for example, “Checked: 90-day low” — that reflects our good-faith review of price-history data and retailer listings at the time of posting. Price-history data comes from third-party tracking services and our own records; it may contain gaps or errors, and it can change after we post. Verification is our research opinion at a moment in time, not a warranty, promise, or guarantee of the lowest available price anywhere.

Coupon codes and promotions listed on this site are provided by retailers and brands, and they control the rules. Any code may:

Expire earlier than its stated date, or be ended by the retailer at any time without notice;
Be limited by region, product, category, order minimum, account type, or number of uses;
Fail to combine (“stack”) with other discounts, or work differently than described.

We remove expired codes from our pages automatically where possible and by hand where not — but a code working is ultimately up to the retailer. If a code doesn’t work, we appreciate the heads-up at [deals@preppingbargains.com] so we can pull it.

5. We are not the seller

Prepping Bargains does not sell, ship, warehouse, or fulfill any product. When you buy through our links, your transaction is entirely with the retailer, under the retailer’s own terms, prices, shipping policies, return policies, and warranties. Questions about an order, delivery, defect, return, or refund go to the retailer. We are not responsible for any retailer’s products, services, or conduct, and we make no warranties about products featured here, which are provided by their manufacturers “as is” under the manufacturers’ own terms.

6. Savings claims and examples

Savings figures we mention — on deals, in stories, in reader-shared hauls, or in any running savings totals — are illustrative examples based on prices at specific moments and individual experiences. Your savings will vary depending on timing, location, taxes, shipping, and what you actually buy. Nothing on this site is a promise that you will save any particular amount, and nothing here is financial advice.

7. Information quality

We work hard to keep this site accurate, but we’re human (that’s rather the point), and data feeds aren’t perfect. Typographical errors, outdated information, and pricing mistakes can occur, and we may correct or remove content at any time without notice. All content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
